I've been watching this Praying Mantis for the last couple of weeks, I have named her Manty, which, of course rhymes with Panty. I went out today, and saw her munching on down on a bumble bee, and ran to get my camera. She ate all of the bee except for the wings, those got thrown to the ground. The meal took 20 minutes. The famous orchestral interlude written by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov for his opera The Tale of Tsar Saltan, in this occasion playing by Bobby McFerrin and Yo-Yo Ma. This video was taken in the chaco paraguayo, an almost imperceptible (amazing) space of time, a bumblebee flying over an 'aromito' fascinating tree with a yellow beautiful flower. Enjoy!
